I hope you enjoy my highly-detailed miniature pillows and rugs! I use 24 count mono canvas, allowing for lots of detail in a small space. Some of the rugs even have fringe on the end.I also make tiny tassels using embroidery floss for that extra special touch on my pillows.

My needlepoint is getting even smaller! I have stitched several Victorian bell pulls stitched on 32 count silk gauze, and recently I have started using 40 count silk gauze as well.

In addition to all my needlepoint work, I also dabble in miniature handsewn bedding, polymer clay food, wooden furniture and more.

CUSTOM ORDERS: I love doing custom projects! If you have fabric you would like me to use for miniature pillows, just let me know. Or if you have a needlepoint pattern you would like me to stitch for you, send me a convo. :)

The evolution of Treasures by Tina

I have always had a strong need for a creative outlet. Over the years, I have enjoyed sewing clothes, embroidery, latch hook and needlepoint. More recently, my medium of choice has been small scale needlepoint. I began with 18 count, then started experimenting with 24 count canvas (congress cloth) in the Summer of 2015. In 2018 I made my first Victorian bell pulls using 32 count silk gauze. I've had a lot of time on my hands, so I've been quite prolific.

I opened this shop several years ago with the goal of sharing my creative ideas with people around the world. A big lesson I've learned is that the Web is a huge place, so I need to learn to market myself and show more confidence in my talents if I want to be successful and an artisan and small business owner. I would love to meet other people with similar goals who would like to share their stories.

I was born in the San Francisco Bay Area and currently live in Atascadero, California. I have enjoyed making things with my hands since preschool finger-painting. Currently, my two favorite media are needlepoint canvas and polymer clay.
